Recent attempts at fearlessness:
Root canal. Check.
Company for dinner (lovely time!). Check.
Spoke up when a conversation took an unkind turn. Check. But fizzled to a mutter when challenged, then backed down and just stewed silently. Uncheck.
Didn't run for cover at the sight of someone who last saw me wearing acid-washed jeans with zippered ankles. Check.
There's no telling what I'll do next!! Maybe something crazy like post a question on a SUNDAY?!?
How are you going to be fearless this week?

I am going to finally call the dentist and get established here. I am more nervous about the dentist than Tropical Storm Dolly barreling down the Gulf of Mexico. What can I say? I could be a storm chaser, but not someone who gets regular dental check ups....
I am going to FINALLY attempt to get my toddler on a normal sleeping schedule (i.e. NOT in bed with me). I've been too tired...for the past 20 months!....but the time has come. Wish me luck.
I am going to go out of my way to meet my neighbors. I used to be quite the extrovert, but I think in my old age I've grown scared of leaving my comfort zone. But a girl needs friends! And I can't keep waiting for my friends to find me!
You are too funny! Bean told me about your blog and I LOVE IT!! Come check me out! :)
Okay, I'm in for real now. My fearless goal. I am going to call a friend from the past out of the blue just to chat without second guessing everything I say.
I might finally tell my parents that we're thinking about going back to school. . .
Maybe.
